A Message from Principal Hampton

1

“Family is not an important thing. It’s everything!”

Ms. Hampton  grew up as a member of a pretty large family village that believed in celebrating all holidays, and anything in between. Therefore, she has grown into an advocate of  all things family. Ms. Hampton's immediate family includes her parents, three siblings, many nieces and nephews, and one son who she absolutely adores beyond the moon and stars.

Mission:

KGLA Mission is to empower our scholars to LEAD as they prepare for college, careers, or the workforce.

Vision:

We envision a school where we love, we learn, and we lead.

Beliefs: We believe that . . .

• Every child deserves a quality education.

• Provided the opportunity, all children can learn.

• A positive relationship between parent and teacher can enhance a child’s success.

• Education should address the whole child: socially, emotionally, culturally, and academically.

• All students should be able to compete in a global society.

• All students should become effective users of technology.

CAUTION…….KGLA IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION… BUILDING LEADERS FROM THE INSIDE OUT!!!!!
