OFFERINGS AND SUPPORT:

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

5

Individual counselingis provided to scholars in a more intimate one on one environment. Scholars and/or their guardians can request one-on-one services. However, all scholars who are identified as tier 3, which means they are already receiving class SEL lessons and small group instruction, but still need additional support will receive mandatory individual counseling sessions. If the student's area of need is unique and there is not an available small group to place them in, that scholar will also be eligible for individual counseling.

GROUP COUNSELING

5

Group counseling is available to all scholars in grades 3-5. Participants and topics for each group are identified based on teacher/administrator recommendations, and social emotional surveys. The group session frequency will be contingent upon the tier of the scholars and the information gathered from all data sources. Prior to scholars participating in group sessions, parental consent will be requested.

CLASSROOM GUIDANCE

5
Classroom guidance lessons are an additional component to scholars' academic journey. Research proves that ensuring that a scholars' social and emotional health are in good standings is just as important as their academic successes. Therefore, we offer classroom guidance lessons to all students at least once a month to reinforce character education and the 5 competencies of social emotional learning.
